Abuja: Minister of Women Affairs Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim has joined other Nigerians in expressing her heartfelt condolences to the family of former President Muhammadu Buhari, who passed away on Sunday in London.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, Sulaiman-Ibrahim, in a statement by her Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Jonathan Eze, described Buhari's death as a profound loss not only to his family but to the nation, which he served 'with dedication and commitment'.
The minister added that the late President, during his tenure, was committed to promoting the welfare of women and children, as well as the development of Nigeria and its people.
