North Central Group Celebrates Yilwatda’s Appointment as APC National Chairman

Abuja: The North Central Development Initiative (NCDI), a civil society organization, has expressed its approval of Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda's appointment as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The group conveyed its congratulations in a letter signed by Comrade Musa Ali Otigba and Alhaji Muhammad Mubarak Alabi, the Director General/National Coordinator and National Secretary of NCDI, respectively.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, the group also extended its gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for considering the sentiments of the North Central Zone by reinstating the national chairmanship of the party to its original region. The NCDI pledged its support for Yilwatda, emphasizing his capacity, dedication, and commitment to democracy and national development, which they believe will lead the party to future successes.

The group recognized the appointment as a fitting acknowledgment of Yilwatda's service and contributions to the APC and the nation. They expressed confidence that his leadership would bring strategic reforms and strengthen internal democracy within the party. The NCDI highlighted its role in advocating for the return of the chairmanship position to the North Central zone and pledged its loyalty to Yilwatda, the APC, and President Tinubu's efforts in transforming Nigeria.
