Chairing on Tuesday the meeting of the permanent health committee of the National Security Council, Health Minister Ali Mrabet pointed to the need to be well prepared so as to deal with health emergencies in the wake of the climatic and epidemic changes affecting the world, reads a Health Ministry press release. Mrabet further underlined the priority given to the medicines sector within the national health system and the need to take concrete measures to meet the citizens' needs in medicines. The minister called for the need to speed up the preparation of implementing legislation for the National Agency for Medicines and Health Products, which will help harmonise the action of all stakeholders in this vital sector, as well as the governance of the medicines sector.
