Mohamed Abdallah Named CEO of Vodacom International Markets and Vodafone Egypt

Johannesburg: Vodacom Group has announced the appointment of Mohamed Abdallah as the Chief Executive Officer of Vodacom International Markets and Vodafone Egypt. This appointment marks a significant step in Vodacom's strategy to streamline its operations, focus on strategic growth, and improve customer experiences as part of its Vision 2030 goals. According to African Press Organization, Mohamed Abdallah, who is currently the CEO of Vodafone Egypt, will take on a broader executive leadership role. This expanded role will involve spearheading growth and ensuring operational excellence across Vodacom's International Markets portfolio. Abdallah's responsibilities will now encompass overseeing operations in Egypt and additional African markets, including the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Lesotho, Mozambique, and Tanzania. By unifying these markets under a single leadership framework, Vodacom aims to advance its strategic priorities more effectively.
