Abuja: The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced a new deadline for online applications into the various paramilitary agencies, now set for August 11.
According to News Agency of Nigeria, the announcement was made in a statement by the Secretary to the board, retired Maj.-Gen. Abdulmalik Jubril, on Sunday. The statement informed the public that the closing date for applications in the ongoing recruitment exercise has been extended by one week. Initially, the recruitment portal was scheduled to close on August 4, but it will now remain accessible until Monday, August 11.
Jubril explained that the extension aims to provide additional opportunities for applicants interested in joining any of the paramilitary services. He reminded applicants that the authentic portal for applications is htpps://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng.
The News Agency of Nigeria also reported that the online recruitment exercise was initially planned to begin on July 2 but was subsequently moved to July 14, with the final commencement on August 21.
