DAR-ES-SALAAM-- Former United States President Barack Obama has wound up his eight-day private visit to Tanzania, describing as an eye opener his visit to the world famous Serengeti National Park.
Obama and his family jetted into the country last Sunday morning, and then proceeded to Grumeti, a central point for witnessing the Great Migration, the annual movement of wildlife across the eastern part of Africa.
The former president, who departed for Nairobi Sunday for a visit to Kenya, said he was immensely delighted by the tourist attractions and pledged to be a good ambassador to entice more Americans to visit Tanzania.
He said he would persuade business people from America to invest in the tourism sector of Tanzania as well as the economic sector.
