China is willing to work together with Tanzania to constantly deepen bilateral military co-operation and boost their military ties, says Fan Changlong, a vice-chairman of China's Central Military Commission.

Fan expressed appreciation for Tanzania's achievements in national and military construction, saying his visit to the country was aimed at implementing the consensus reached by the heads of State of the two countries and to further advance relations between the two countries.

Fan also said that China had maintained long-term and close military exchanges with Tanzania as good friends and would carry forward the friendship.

Magufuli expressed thanks for China's tremendous support and selfless assistance to Tanzania over the years, saying the Tanzania-China friendship is Tanzania's precious treasure.

Tanzania is willing to conduct all-round exchanges and co-operation with China in political, economic, military and other fields to benefit the peoples of the two countries, he said.
